Are there different types of Free Bet offers?
Bookmakers offer a variety of free bet offers to attract new customers. These are often matched free bets, matched deposits, enhanced odds bonus, no deposit free bets and cashback free bets.
Matched Free Bets
These are the most common free bet type you will be offered. It means the bet you place will be matched by the bookmaker.

Many providers will have this type of offer available, so look out for them, although make sure you read the small print as there are often extra conditions such as maximum bet value and minimum odds attached to the offer, plus the free bets may only be valid on specific markets.
Matched Deposits
A less common offer when signing up with a new bookmaker these days is to match the deposit you place. This is ideal for those who know that they are going to be making a big first deposit when they open an account, as it will be returned in free bets matching that same value.
There is always some sort of cap on these. It can be as high as £50 or even £100 but always read the small print before committing.
